In Search Of
Clifford Freeman Wright
Submitted By: C. S. Rumfelt-Wright

I am desperately seeking the parents of Clifford Freeman Wright who was born in Dayton, Ohio, in the early to mid 1800s. Siblings unknown, but may have been a brother of William Monroe Wright, the founder of the Calumet Baking Powder Co in Illinois and the founder of Calumet Farms in Kentucky.

Clifford Freeman Wright was married to Mary E. Moynihan, had two sons, Clifford Wyman Wright and William Wright both born in Chicago. William Wright died as a child. They had one daughter, name unknown.

Clifford Wyman married Georgia Hoffman in Wisconsin. They had two children, Clifford George and Mary. They moved to California in the 30s or 40s.

Clifford George Wright married Doris Woodard in California. They had two children, Clifford Warner Wright and Wayne Woodard Wright (who is my husband).

Clifford Warner married Lorna Carnes and they have one son, Clifford Benjamin. Clifford seems to somehow have been a family name. I have gotten as far back as Clifford Freeman and am stumped. If you have any information on this branch of the wright family, please let me know!
