Isaac Morse, born about 1822, Ohio, married 21 Mar 1850, Westfield, Ohio, Elizabeth ________, born abt 1831, Ohio. [Note: She was not the daughter of William Hatfield and Susannah Miller.]   They remained in Ohio until after 1853.   By 1857 they were in Michigan.   In 1860 they were living in Crystal, Montcalm Co, MI, a short distance from his sister Ann Marie (Morse) Fletcher.   They were still living there and were enumerated in the 1880 census.   Their children were:

Nehemiah Morse II, born abt 1823 in Ohio.   On 4 Sep 1856 at Avon, Rock Co, WI, he married Mary Sophia Warner, born 4 Apr 1842.   She was 14 years old and he was 31 years old when they married.   On 25 Aug 1860, Summit, Juneau Co, WI, they were living with Mary's brother Wellington (Wesley) A. Warner.   While in residence in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, on 29 Feb 1864, Nehemiah enlisted in Company I, 36th Infantry Regiment Wisconsin.   Nehemiah died 2 Jul 1865 while in the service.   Their children were:

1. Arren Shaffer, b. 1865 in Ohio.   He was listed in the 1880 Census of Lawton, Van Buren Co, Michigan with William and Amity C Willson.   No further information.

Ann Marie Morse, (twin) born 2 Oct 1837, Wayne Co, Ohio, married Aaron Fletcher on 13 Oct 1853 in Wayne Co, Ohio.   He was born in Grickmillen, England on 30 Aug 1831, the son of John and Mary (Lee) Fletcher. At age 16, he arrived in America in 1847, and settled in Ohio where he married Ann M Morse.   Aaron and Ann Marie moved to Winnebago Co, IL, then to Wisconsn, Iowa, Missouri and finally by 1875 they settled in Michigan.   She died 18 Feb 1905, Ganges, Allegan Co, Michigan and he died there 10 Jul 1911.   Both are buried in the Taylor Cemetery in Ganges.   They had the following children.

[She was possibly daughter of N.H. and Esther Bennett].   In 1900 he was found in Duncan, Houghton Co, MI, in 1920 he was fund in Saxon, Iron Co, Wisconsin, and in 1930 he was living in Oshtemo, Kalamazo Co, Michigan.   Their Child was:

In our search for Frederick in the census records 1870 through 1930, we could find only one that could possibly match this Frederick in the 1910 census for Middlefield Twp, Geauga, Ohio.   He is married to Suzzie O, with daughter Virginia.

Mary L Fletcher, b. 19 Oct 1854, in Ohio. In the 1870 Census Mary was found working as a domestic servant in Saugatuck, for Oliver and Mary Williams.   She married Solomon A Hill, 13 Nov 1871, in Allegan Co, MI.   In the 1870 Census, Solomon working on the Fletcher farm as a "farm Labor".   He was born 1846, died 1930.   Mary died 2 Aug 1940, Allegan Co, MI.   Mary and Solomon had 6 children:

1. Almon Hill, b. Nov 1871, MI.   In 1880 he was living with his parents in Ganges, Allegan Co, MI.   About 1898 he married Hattie M ______, born Apr 1867.   In 1900 we find him living in Elbridge, Oceana Co, MI living with his wife Hattie M and daughter Lidia H (born Jun 1899). In 1910 he was still in Elridge Twp living with Hattie M and three children: Lidia H (10), George L (9) and James R (2).   In 1920 he was living in Walkerville, Oceana Co, MI with his family.

2. William Hill, b. Apr 1873, MI.   In 1880 he was living with his parents in Ganges, Allegan Co, MI.   In 1900 he was found in Keeler, Van Buren Co, MI working as a Servant in the home of John & Mary McAlfine.   We found numerous Census records for William Hill, but could not determine which was the correct person.

Louise Olive Fletcher, b. 9 Aug 1856, Rockford, Winnegago Co, IL,   On 20 Sep 1875, in Ganges, Allegan Co, MI, she married Henry Myron Wright, b. 20 Feb 1850, Ottawa, LaSalle Co, IL.   He was the son of John Wright and Ruth Drake.   They owned a small farm near Ganges and remained their the remainder of their lives.   Louise was living their with her daughter Cora when my sister and I spent the summer visiting her in 1944.   Henry died 26 Mar 1931, Ganges, Allegan Co, MI. and she died 13 Jan 1950 in South Haven, Van Buren Co, MI.   Both are buried in the Taylor Cemetery, Ganges, Allegan Co, MI.   They had two children:

1. Perry Wright, b. 16 Nov 1876, Ganges, Allegan Co, MI.   He married in Ottawa, LaSalle Co, IL on 23 Dec 1899, Eunice Alona Scidmore, b. 4 Jun 1875 in Ottawa, LaSalle Co, IL.   Perry built his home on a small farm across the road from his parents farm.   Eunice died 24 Oct 1950, in Ganges, Allegan Co, MI and Perry died there 28 May 1958.   Both are buied in the McDowell Cemetery, in Ganges.   Their Children were:
   1. Carl Wright, born 9 Jun 1902, Fennville, Allegan Co, MI, died 15 Jun 1984, Fairfield, Solano Co, CA.   On 18 Sep 1923, he married Dollie Harvey in Payette, Payette Co, ID.   She was born 16 Feb 1907 in Ravia, Johnston Co, OK, the daughter of Charles Harvey and Zuba Cheves.   They had four children:

   2. Mabel Wright, b. 1 Dec 1905, Ganges Tws, Allegan Co, MI, d. 3 Jul 1987, South Haven, Van Buren Co, MI.   She married (1st) William "Bill" Stell, (2nd) Agnes Fred Meyle Sr.   No Children.
   3. Lee R Wright, b. 21 Sep 1909, Fennville, Allegan Co, MI, died 11 Feb 1998, South Haven, Van Buren Co, MI.   He married Ruth _____ who died in Oct 1997.
   4. Hartley Ralph Wright, b. 2 Jan 1913, Ganges, Allegan Co, MI, d. 6 Nov 1993, Holland, MI.   He was buried in the Taylor Cemetery, Ganges Tws, Allegan Co, MI.   On 6 Feb 1938, in Kalamazoo, MI, he married Mary Ellen Jennings. They had one child:
      1. Thomas H.M. Wright, b. 26 Dec 1938, Douglas, Allegan Co, MI.   He died 1 Jan 2000, Monette, AR.   He married Diana Louise Wood (Div) They had three children:

   5. Neil P Wright, born 1 Dec 1914, Glenn, Allegan Co, MI, died 24 Nov 1982, St Joseph, Berrien Co, MI, and was buried Hagar Shores, Berrien Co, MI.   He married Dorothy Hamin, b. 1916, d. 1980.   She was the daughter of Jerome J Hamlin and Ida Bell Overhiser.   She was buried McDowell Cem, Ganges Tws, Allegan Co, MI.   They had two children:
      1. Janice Louise Wright, b. 13 Mar 1937, died 15 Oct 1943, buried McDowell Cemetery, Ganges Tws, Allegan Co, MI.
      2. Sandra Lee Wright, b. 14 Jun 1950, died 7 Jul 1954, buried McDowell Cemetery, Ganges Tws, Allegan Co, MI.
2. Cora Wright, b. 24 Oct 1883, Ganges, Allegan Co, MI and died there 6 Jan 1977, and was buried in the Taylor Cemetery, Ganges, Allegan Co, MI.   Late in live she married William Lane.   No children.

1. Blanche W. Fletcher, born 9 Dec 1889, in MI, & died 25 Dec 1945, and buried in Victor Cemetry, Vicor, ID.   She married Harry Scott and had one child:
   1. Evelyn Scott, born 20 Jan 1908 in Ganges, MI.   She died 4 Jul 2001 in Idaho Falls, ID.  l She is buried in the Victor Cemetery, Victor ID   She married (1st) Lawrence Edwin "Shrimp" Beesley.   He was born 29 Oct 1905, Driggs, Idaho, died 20 May 1959, Idaho Falls, Bingham Co, ID.   They had two children:

      Evelyn Scott married (2nd) John Wallace Cherry, 12 Jul 1934 in Dillon, MT. He was born 3 Sep 1904, in Victor, ID. d. _______ and is buried in the Victor Cemetery in Victor, ID   They had no children.
