This is suppose to be a true story....from The Chemical and Engineering News . ("Lancet" is the British Medical Journal) "An urgent appeal for blood donations issued by the German Health Minister Andrea Fischer brought a response from a surprising quarter- Count Dracula [Lancet, 354, 660 (1999)] He's the last survivor of the Dracul family, Ottomar Rudolphe Vlad Dracul Prince Kretzulesco and lives in a crumbling castle on the outskirts of Berlin. The Count volunteered to lead a campaign for blood donors on Aug 15-18. He also agreed to attend special showings of vampire movies to draw donors.
