In Search Of Mary Russell's Ancestors

This Mary Russell married "John Roote",
and is in the direct line of my Granddaughter Jennifer Root and Great
Grandchildren Skyler Root and Robert Newton
. We have Mary Russell's parents listed, but no further
information on her line. We are in hopes that those of you in this line may have more
information on their ancestors.
Note: We have found her listed as Mary Russell and Ann Russell and some times both ways in one
article. For this reason we have listed her as Mary Ann Russell.

Information from Parish records of Badby, a small parish in Northamptonshire, England, concerning the
father of John Roote. "There is a record of the death of Thomas Roote on the 5th of April, 1609.
Whether this was the father or brother of John Roote who married Ann Russell is not known. No
further records of the family are found, from which we may reasonably infer that the family left the
place and in all probability emigrated to America.
